Stones Teams win Accolades from Legal 500
Four solicitors and three teams from Stones Solicitors LLP, one of Devon’s leading law firms, have been chosen for special mention by the independent guide to the legal profession, Legal 500.
The firm’s Travel, Tourism and Insurance team is described as ‘first-rate’, with ‘a real niche in travel and tourism-related matters. Team Leader Bronwen Courtenay-Stamp is a ‘smart operator’ and a ‘formidable opponent’, with significant expertise in skiing and snowboarding claims. Another Team member, Samantha Pucci, is also recommended for her work in foreign travel.
James Browne who leads the Personal Injury (claimant) team is, says the guide, ‘switched on’ and has a ‘wealth of experience’ in animal injury and accident claims.
Practice head James Menzies is a ‘safe pair of hands’ at the head of the Social Housing Team which ‘delivers quick and pragmatic advice tailored to the matter in hand’.
Stones’ Family Team also receives recognition; the Team is led by David Howell-Richardson, an expert in children matters, while Graham Simm receives mention for his expertise in financial issues arising from divorce and separation. Other teams recognized by the guide include commercial litigation, personal tax, trusts and probate, education, commercial property and property litigation.
