Personal Injury Accreditation

James Browne, Partner and Head of the Personal Injury Team at leading Devon law firm Stones Solicitors LLP, has been re-accredited under the prestigious Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme.

The scheme covers all work carried out by solicitors on behalf of victims, their dependents or the organisations arranging compensation for them. This covers their rights and obligations that are the result of any alleged act of negligence or breach of statutory duty which have caused sustained personal or fatal injuries.

This is the latest accolade achieved by James. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a long standing member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Specialist Personal Injury Panel.

James advises on occupational disease, catastrophic physical injuries and brain injuries. He and his team were described in the 2010 edition of independent legal guide Legal 500 as a “confident team that takes an exemplary approach to its work.”

Said James: “The standards required to become accredited under the Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme are high and involve a rigorous analysis of one’s work and results – it shows clients and prospective clients that the highest quality of legal advice is available. Re-accreditation is good news not just for me, but also to the Personal Injury Team at Stones and our clients.”

Adrian Richards, Chief Operating Officer at Stones, added: “We are very pleased that James has achieved such a prestigious re-accreditation. His success emphasises the importance we place on our people achieving the best in their career, not just to their benefit but to the benefit of our clients.”
