Chief Operating Officer
Having joined the business in January 2008 as its Regulatory Compliance, Quality and Risk Manager Adrian was appointed to the Executive Committee in October 2008 and in May 2010 was appointed Chief Operating Officer.
As a former Partner in National Law Firm Shoosmiths and with a background within the commercial sector including private equity Adrian’s focus will be upon driving the business forward at a time when the legal market faces many challenges. Adrian is supported by the Executive Committee and the Operational Board.
Adrian is tasked with the delivery of the business’s strategic objectives and with ensuring that its clients receive value for money in respect of the services they purchase.
In order to achieve this all staff of the business are motivated towards ensuring that they have a clear understanding of:
• The client’s needs and objectives
• The challenges that they face
• The market within which they operate
• The ‘result’ that the client is seeking to achieve
The business has built up a strong reputation not only for the quality of its advice but also the practical approach that all of its legal teams take towards delivering results.
In a legal market that will see significant change over the coming years the business needs to be able to react quickly and seize opportunities when they present themselves. To this end Adrian is supported by an Executive Committee who work closely with him.
