Terry is a Partner and Head of the Employment Team.
Terry is an Employment Law specialist with expertise in advising employers in complex dismissals of senior employees in unfair dismissals, whistle blowing, and all strands of discrimination. Terry is an experienced Advocate and appears regularly in the Exeter and Bristol Employment Tribunals.
Terry adopts a problem-solving approach, preferring to deal with what clients can do about problems as opposed to what they cannot. In his words he “specialises in solutions”.
Terry is closely involved in local authority issues, and has advised public institutions, charities and not for profit organisations as well as a host of commercial companies of all sizes. Terry is well known for his tenacious approach and tactical advice in disputes. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and is known as an excellent speaker on diversity and employment law issues.
