Peter is the Head of the Defence Advocates team and Partner at Stones.
Peter joined Stones in 1990 as a Trainee and never left! When he qualified with the Firm he expressed an interest in joining the Criminal Department, as it was then, and has continued to expand and develop the Team to ensure that Stones’ loyal client base always have the benefit of excellent legal advice.
Peter has been a Duty Solicitor since 1994 and was delighted to be awarded his Higher Rights (Criminal) Qualification in 2007 in recognition of his extensive experience and knowledge.
Peter is a highly regarded Advocate in the Devon area and also enjoys representing those unfortunate enough to be arrested and detained at the Police Station as well as appearing in the Magistrates’ Court on a daily basis. He experience in dealing with high value fraud and money laundering cases and has been involved in a number of high profile cases.
He is happy to take on any case, however difficult, and has developed a particular interest in and expertise of Courts Martial work.
