ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
There are a number of alternative parts to Dispute Resolution beyond Court proceedings that may be appropriate in almost all types of disputes. These include "without prejudice" meetings, informal mediation, formal mediation and arbitration. These alternatives may save time and money and should always at least be considered, if not pursued, in almost all disputes. All of Stones' Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team have extensive experience of representing commercial and private clients in all types of "ADR" and of ensuring that clients are able to properly consider its appropriateness, which available option might suit them best and that they get the most from the process.

It is a sad fact of life that sometimes professional advisors offer advice that proves to be incorrect and cause businesses and individuals alike to suffer financial loss, sometimes small, often very significant. "Professional advisors" include other Lawyers, Accountants, Surveyors, Architects, Planning Advisors and the like. Usually all professional advisors have indemnity insurance and Stones' Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team possess vast experience and specialist skills in bringing these claims, commonly on a Conditional Fee Agreement "No win, No fee" basis.
