Kate Scott
Trainee Solicitor
Kate joined the Defence Advocates Team in February 2007 having previously worked as a support worker for young offenders and has acted as an appropriate adult at the Police Station for children in care.
Kate accepted a Training Contract with Stones on 1 January 2008 and has chosen a Criminal Law focus which will result in her qualifying on 21 July 2009. Kate is extremely committed and has an excellent reputation for the thoroughness of her preparation.
Kate is also studying for her Law Society Police Station Accreditation Scheme qualification and is now a Probationary Police Station Representative.
She has recently been involved in:
- Multi-handed violent disorder
- Attempted murder where defendant has mental issues
- High value conspiracy to import class A drugs
