Frank Cook
Associate
Frank is an Associate in the Private Client Team who works from both the Exeter and Okehampton offices.
Frank specialises in the drafting of Wills, Estate Planning, Probate, Estate Administration and Trust Management as well as advising in relation to the affairs of the elderly.
He is a Member of the Solicitors for the Elderly.
Frank is frequently invited to give talks to specialist interest groups such as carer’s and other voluntary groups. In addition, he has also appeared regularly on BBC Radio Devon taking calls on live phone-ins on a variety of private client topics.
Frank has recently advised in relation to:-
- A situation where there was concern about the ability of a potential beneficiary to manage their affairs.
- Preparing an emergency will and powers of attorney for a client in hospital.
- The appointment of guardians during divorce proceedings.
- Helping a client in putting their affairs in order with a view to assets protection at the early inset of dementia.
Frank is also fluent in spoken French.
