Development, Land & Planning

The Development Land & Planning Team is a recently formed, but rapidly expanding Team set up to focus on the needs of regional and local Developers right through from site acquisition to plot sales and of landowners looking to bring their land forward for development. In addition, the Team has dedicated planning expertise to assist both Developers and Landowners with any planning issues they have.

The Team negotiates drafts and completes Options, Joint Ventures, Development Agreements and Conditional Contracts for both Developers and Landowners. It deals with the drafting of Section 106 Agreements, Unilateral Obligations and all other documentation required in connection with Planning Applications. The Team has extensive experience in the preparation of documentation in respect of the sale of individual properties on new developments including Home Information Packs.

The Team builds close relationships with its clients becoming an integral part of the clients team advising how best to progress their transactions. Experience shows that it is much more effective to be involved from the outset to help shape the transaction rather than just documenting what has been agreed.

The Team acts for substantial Companies, Trusts, Charities, smaller owner managed businesses, Institutional Lenders, large Landowners and private individuals. No transaction is too big or too small. The Team is always happy to discuss with potential clients without charge or obligation any issues they have and to advise how best to progress matters and the likely costs involved.
