Our Defence Advocacy Team is a leading provider of Defence Advocacy Services in the South West. We have built our reputation on consistency of representation and getting the best possible result for our clients. We are a committed, hardworking and dynamic Team. We feel very strongly about what we do and pride ourselves on our reputation.

We have an enviable reputation and are highly regarded by our clients and other professionals alike.

We have five Solicitors four of whom are Higher Court Advocates (Criminal). To support the Advocates we have a Team of Caseworkers all of whom are experienced in Criminal Law and procedures.

All of our Solicitors have a wealth of experience and are able to advise on all aspects of Criminal Law and Motoring matters. We are able to offer representation right from the all important early stages at the Police Station to the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal, if necessary. We have Advocates appearing in the Magistrates Courts, Youth Court and the Crown Court on a daily basis. All five Solicitors are Duty Solicitors.

In addition to this we also have significant experience of appearing before the Courts Martial and are able to offer advice and representation in relation to Military matters.

Stones’ Defence Advocates also undertake defence work on behalf of a number of Utility Companies who are prosecuted for regulatory offences. We are happy to offer advice and assistance in relation to defending all types of regulatory offences whether you are an individual or a company.
